What changed when Stocky closed
Shopify moved most of Stocky into the admin. Here's where each job lives now, and what we add for the ones it left out.

Why not just another Stocky clone?
Most purchase order apps keep their own copy of your orders, so you end up running two systems and keeping them in sync. When they get out of step, stock levels get overwritten. Stray Anchor Purchase Orders works directly on the purchase orders you already make in Shopify (Products → Purchase orders), and it never changes your stock or costs.

- Install the app. Your Shopify purchase orders appear straight away.
- Add your suppliers' email addresses. Supplier names are filled in from your orders.

Questions from Stocky users
What replaced Stocky?
Shopify moved Stocky's jobs into the Shopify admin: purchase orders, transfers and stock counts are built in, and demand forecasting moved to Sidekick. Stocky stopped working on 31 August 2026.
Can I email a purchase order to a supplier from Shopify?
Not from the Shopify admin itself: you download the PDF and attach it to an email. Stray Anchor Purchase Orders sends it in one click, as a PDF and CSV with a link for the supplier to confirm.
Can I bring my Stocky purchase orders across?
Shopify doesn't import historical purchase orders, so old Stocky orders stay in your Stocky export. Stray Anchor Purchase Orders works on every purchase order you create in Shopify from now on.
Is it a full Stocky replacement?
No, and on purpose. Forecasting is in Sidekick and stock counts are in Shopify. We do the supplier side Shopify left out, on Shopify's own purchase orders, so there's no second system to keep in sync.
Will it change my stock or costs?
Never. Stock changes when you receive in Shopify. We show where a product's cost in Shopify is out of date and link you to fix it, but we don't change it ourselves.
What does it cost?
Free for 5 purchase orders a month. Pro is US$19 a month for 1,000, and Plus is US$39 for 5,000, both with a 14-day free trial, billed through Shopify.
